There has been a video under the name ‘Mai Mai’ on Facebook, utilising AI to impersonate Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Vincent Tan Chee Yioun, Founder and Advisor of Berjaya Corporation Berhad (“BCorp”), promoting an investment scheme.

We would like to advise that this is a FRAUDULENT attempt to collect money from unsuspecting members of the public. Our Founder and Advisor has NO involvement whatsoever with this alleged algorithm or get-rich-quick scheme.

Any type of investment carries risk, and returns are never guaranteed. Please do not be swayed by schemes that require initial deposits and promise unrealistic daily gains, or claim to be utilising so-called ‘algorithms’ or ‘sophisticated tools’ to manipulate the market for profits.

Please stay vigilant and verify the legitimacy of any investment opportunities, especially those that appear ‘too good to be true’ or promise unrealistic returns. Scrupulous parties often exploit prominent business leaders and reputable organisations, in an attempt to mislead potential victims.

If you encounter such bogus claims, please report them immediately to the relevant authorities. Do not engage with the scammers, and refrain from sharing your personal or financial information.
