Berjaya Land Berhad Inks Agreement With Yangon Regional Government for Mixed Development Project in Myanmar

On 7 February 2020, Berjaya Land Berhad, through its subsidiary, BDS Smart City Company Limited signed a concession agreement with Yangon Region Government for BDS Smart City, a mixed development project in Yangon.

BDS Smart City will comprise affordable housing, high and mid-end condominiums, a commercial units and institutional facilities. The project will be built on 183 acres of land located at the corner of Shwe Li Road and Mya Nandar Road in the "Dagon Mvohit Seikkan" township, located approximately 16km from Yangon City. Divided into 12 parcels, the development has a Gross Development Value of US$746mil (RM3.05bil).
